We're stoked about these updates, and we hope they make your localization journey even smoother.

🍏 Xcode String Catalogs (.xcstrings) 🔗

Are you ready to make the switch to the new localizable format for iOS apps?

You can now upload .xcstrings files using Localazy's web upload or Localazy CLI. All the features of XCode Strings Catalogs are supported, including simple values, variants, substitutions, and plurals.

No extra configuration is necessary as all the features are supported out of the box.

Read more about String Catalogs support in the documentation.

📠 Translation Memory eXchange (.tmx) 🔗

TMX (Translation Memory eXchange) files are supported in the same way as all other localizable formats. There’s also a custom implementation for pluralized items.

TMX files up to version 1.4b are supported.
